Jack and His Rose (1)
杰克和他的玫瑰
Jack found a seed,
杰克找到了一颗种子
A seed of a rose.
一颗属于玫瑰的种子。
He planted it in a ropey pot,
他把种子种进破旧的花盆，
And placed it on the window sill.
并放置于窗台之上。
When he woke up in the day light,
当他在一片光亮中醒来时，
He made sure his rose was doing well.
他会确认他的玫瑰是否一切都好。
When he came back in the night,
当他于夜晚中回来时，
He asked, “would you like a cocktail?”
他问道：“来一杯鸡尾酒怎么样？”
That was not merely a joke,
那并不仅仅是个玩笑，
The cocktail would came with the silver moon
甘美的酒液会与银色的月亮一起
Shining in the scarlet pokal.
被盛放在猩红的高脚杯中。
Then the rose bloomed.
不久，玫瑰盛开了。
However, the rose got missing the next day.
然而第二天，玫瑰却消失了。
And this is the beginning of the story.
这便是故事的开始。
He stared at the scattered clay,
他凝视着散落的泥土，
Later he walked into the city of gray.
之后走进了灰色的城市。
There were murmurs followed his way:
轻声的呢喃伴随着他的脚步：
“I will find you,
“我会找到你，
Let me find you,
让我找到你，
The thief of my rose.
那位偷花贼。
My dear, dear rose.”
为我亲爱的，亲爱的玫瑰”
